SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Develop and localise new eLearning modules and update existing modules by creating more interactive experiences for the target audience. This position will also be responsible for the administration of the Learning Management System, and will actively contribute to all relevant eLearning, training and marketing strategy implementation efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop strategy to manage both Instructor Led and online training through the corporate Learning Management System.
2. Review Elancourt’s programmes of teaching and learning to assess their potential for online / electronic delivery, and advise the top management team.
3. Lead the development of required eLearning modules in collaboration with the Sales Training and Marketing teams.
4. Oversee and assist with the translation function of English content into European languages and then carry out the rebuild and quality testing of modules;
5. Continually improve the end-user’s experience of the eLearning service.
6. Be the principal point of contact to address internal and external enquiries and issues related to eLearning.
7. Be responsible for all eLearning resources within the Covidien European Training Centre and ensure the provision of technical support for hardware, networks, software and systems relating to eLearning.
8. Actively contribute to the implementation of all eLearning, training and marketing strategies as needed;
9. Generate service reports including ROI.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred: Diploma in Education and Training (elearning)
Experience: Experience in an eLearning vendor agency or corporate service provider with some management experience. Excellent computer skills.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Diploma preferred experience includes knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles and eLearning software.
Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools and Microsoft Project
Skills/Competencies: Excellent verbal and written skills
Self starter; able to direct own work
Good research abilities
