Description
Customer Management • Achieve agreed budgets, focused on sales growth. • Present and sell STR products and services to current and potential clients. • Support and advise the physician on the correct use of Covidien devices. • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock. • Identify and resolve client concerns Business Development • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the contacts to be made. • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. • Working in the Theatre environment converting surgeons and theatre personnel • Taking a wide organisational view of selling and managing accounts, with sufficient knowledge of competitors and their products Support & Training • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. • Educating and training both Clinicians and Hospital Staff as well as providing verbal technical support and organising regular in-services, and assisting in National/International training requirements. DELIVERABLES AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Achievement and exceeding of sales budget, implementation of sales plan and growing existing business as well as managing customer relations at all levels in your territory. • Developing excellent levels of product knowledge and awareness of environmental changes • Effectively manage expense budget allocations as well as all consignment accounts. • Enlarge client base in assigned territory • Complete all administrative tasks as per Line Manager requirements. • Attend any scheduled meetings and calls • Attend and facilitate congresses, workshops and any required marketing function • Jobholder will comply with Covidien values on Health, Safety, Environmental and Business Conduct and will adhere to all Corporate and local policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements
• Full, clean driving licence • Living on territory • Educated to degree level • Previous experience of selling into healthcare, ideally with demonstrated track record of sales success in Operating room. Closing date for this position is Monday 9th November 2009.
