Job Title: Process Engineer Reports to: Engineering Manager JOB FUNCTIONS The Process Engineer will carry out the following duties: •Provide daily manufacturing support and lead technical team in area of accountability. •Support complex automatic processes in the area which incorporate electropneumatic and cam driven technologies •Manage Preventative Maintenance Programme in area. •Manage projects from conception to completion ensuring all functional deliverables are met on time and on budget. •Drive process improvement and cost reduction through use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques •Work with Marketing and R&D on new product introduction and also product competitiveness initiatives. •Manage capital spend programme and also maintenance expenditure in area of accountability. •Lead quality improvement initiatives driven from the CAPA system and Customer complaints.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Engineering is required, in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Polymer or another related discipline. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE: Minimum 4 years in a Process / Manufacturing Engineering Role preferably in high volume, WCM industry. Excellent Project Management Experience. Strong mechanical competency. Automatic Assembly experience. Form Fill Seal (FFS) Packaging M/C experience. Knowledge of Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Experience with PEMAC/ MAXIMO or some other Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). MS Office, MS Project, Minitab Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to lead technical teams (Maintenance Fitters, Electricians & Technicians) Have a proactive, flexible, innovative approach to work Have an analytical, data driven approach to problem solving. ADVANTAGEOUS IF THE CANDIDATE HAS: Polymer processing experience Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing experience Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
