To assist the Irish Technical Services Management team to provide effective repair and calibration services.
To include:-
• To provide workshop based diagnosis, repair, maintenance and calibration services on Covidien and any other supported electronic and electro-mechanical medical products
• Work in an efficient and timely manner in order to achieve departmental KPI’s.
• To proactively monitor and prioritize their own workload and bring to the attention of the workshop management team any risk to their performance, including the provision of spare parts or test equipment capabilities.
• To perform all work strictly in accordance with procedures relevant to the product including but not limited to servicing method, quality and safety.
• To prepare and submit all paperwork when required in accordance with Covidien policies.
• To be self motivated enough to work on there own initiative in the absence of any supervisor or manager.
• To work as a team member sharing workload and supporting others to benefit the department, our colleagues and customers.
• Work to all relevant Health & Safety, Quality or other standards in accordance with Covidien policies.
• To keep their work organised and tidy at all times
• To maintain their level of knowledge and skill to keep pace with technology and change.
• Must communicate with customers and colleagues politely and respectfully and where required showing restraint to avoid conflict or similar undesirable situations.
• Assist in the delivery of any workshop improvement processes.
• Any other duties as specified by the TS management team.
• To perform a number of warehouse functions also, such as;
• Receipt and Processing of goods
• Dispatching repairs
• Control and allocation of spares into workshop.
• Logging all repairs onto JBA service
• Maintaining and filing all paperwork daily

| Requirements
|
|
• A minimum 2 years experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience in servicing medical devices would be an advantage.
• An Diploma or equivalent in Electronics or related engineering subject is preferred.
• Good command of English language (including written).
